NAACP Eligibility Center

  • Student Athletes that plan to play at the college level need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center at web1.ncaa.org/ECWR2/NCAA_EMS/NCAA.jsp​
  • *Juniors that think they will play college sports will need to sign up with the NCAA Eligibility center: a transcript will be needed at the end of the second semester

AP Courses/College Credit

  • If you are wondering if the AP courses you have/are taking will count for college credit at the school you wish to attend, check out the College Board website at collegesearch.collegeboard.com/apcreditpolicy/index.jsp
  • Be aware that you must meet a certain score criteria on your AP tests to qualify for any college credit.

​Arkansas State University at Jonesboro 

  • ASU is having several Open Houses on specific majors. Each Open House event is designed to allow high school seniors and their parents to spend the day on our Jonesboro campus gathering information about Admissions, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Residence Life, and Student Life.
  • The following dates have been set for Open House Events: College of Nursing and Health Professions -September 11, College of Agriculture and Technology - September 27, College of Engineering  - October 2, College of Fine Arts - October 11, College of Humanities and Social Sciences - October 18, College of Education - October 25
  • All of the dates include check-in at 8:30am at the Student Union (3rd Floor)

  • Harvard University announcement:
  • No tuition and no student loans. Harvard announced that from now on, students from low-income families will pay no tuition. In making the announcement, families earning less than $60,000 a year with an honor student graduating from high school, Harvard wants to pay the tuition.
